Alan Moore knows the score.
And I'm a very big fan of South Park.
Have you seen the ''Trapped in the Closet'' episode?
[Sings] ''I'm trapped in the closet!'' Yeah, that was terrific. I thought the way that South Park handled that bit with the Scientologists was wonderful. I was also quite heartened the other day when watching the news to see that there were demonstrations outside the Scientology headquarters over here, and that they suddenly flashed to a clip showing all these demonstrators wearing V for Vendetta [Guy Fawkes] masks. That pleased me. That gave me a warm little glow.

Disney vs. Scientology
Tune into the new season of Lewis Black's Root of All Evil, on Comedy Central, starting Wednesday July 30.
I don't know the specific date when this show is going to air, but only last week I was at a taping of ROAE & watched them do Disney vs. Scientology. It was great. They did more than the Xenu story, though not as much as I'd hoped. But enough to sell the audience (which was almost evenly split) on it's evilness. I was disappointed with the scripted outcome, but you know, the litigious nature of Co$ was enough to keep them from doing it at all last season, so I'm really just happy it got made.

Scientology Protest in Connecticut July 12th, 2008
City: NEW HAVEN, CONNECTICUT
Meet-up Location: ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE "CHURCH"
Meet-up Time: 11AM
Protest Location: 909 WHALLEY AVE. NEW HAVEN, CT
Protest Time: 11AM
URL with more information: CTANONYMOUS.ORG or http://forums.enturbulation.org/140-usa-east-coast/new-haven-ct-19073/
Notes: MAKE SURE TO BRING ALONG AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE. MASKS [V for Vendetta masks, available on Amazon.com] ARE SUGGESTED FOR PRIVACY. REACH OUT TO AS MANY LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS, NEWS OUTLETS AND COMMUNITIES AS POSSIBLE TO GET THE WORD OUT. TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN SUCCESSFUL.The church of Scientology [basically a money making scheme] has for some time now ruined lives, separated families and run many people into debt with their persistent mind games. This is not an attack on the people who have gotten sucked into their cult.. This is a protest against the so called churches ridiculous and cruel practices.

Enturbulation.org Week in Review - Week 25
Week 25 now up!
Staturday presents: the post-coital chill
This week has been a little calmer than usual flash-raid wise, as was expected. I have refrained from indexing theme proposal threads; I'll post when a kind of consensus on July's protest is reached.
Highlights include: Possible fair game or police abuse in Sydney
Sydney Anon following scientologists handing out anit-Anon fliers were stopped and physically assaulted by undercover ‘police officers’ in what is either a case of deplorable police brutality or Scilons impersonating the police. Angry Gay Pope Stalked for Two Days!
Hollywood Anon Angry Gay Pope picks up a Scilon tail after operation Sea Arrgh. X-Zone interview with Scientologists / Anons
Last week, X-Zone (internationally syndicated radio show) had two Anon on the air, talking about Chanology. This week, it is the Scilon’s turn. More details and links in thread. Hamburg Anons hold their first ever flash raid, targeting the CCHR. Scientology protester faces court over ‘ambiguous’ sign - scotsman.com
A 57-year old protester has been charged with breach of the peace after carrying an “ambiguous” sign calling
Scientology a “cu*t” during Operation Sea Arrrgh in Edinburgh. Scientology’s Own Banks - Private Owners get % of all sales - Tax Fraud?
UMSBanking.com, the firm that processes payments for Scientology servers is owned by Scientology and exclusively staffed by high-ranking members. This means that any fees charged goes into private hands of high ranking Scientology members; this is one way they are trying to get money from their non-profit church into the private funds of high-ranking members.
Happy Staturday! Keep enturbulating!

Flashraids and Spylons and Dox, oh my!
As today is Staturday, I presnt to you week 23 in Review.
Highlights include: raiding Saint Hill, Scientologists infiltrating Anonymous (badly), head of Plymouth Org steals signs from a disabled protester and Toronto Anon hold a 24-hour picket.
A directory to find Anon in your area has also been added here.
All in all, a good week.

On my way to the train this morning I saw a flyer with a piratey theme, even if the image they used was a slight alteration of the V for Vendetta
facemask. It was for an event that is slated for June 14th and I initially took it to be something I was hearing about at BayCon
, a number of my pirate type friends were going on about some gathering that was to be taking place sometime soon, when I was drawn to a pause by something in the lower right·hand corner...
This called for a closer look.
As scarey as this may sound, the scientologists seem to be holding a piratey event this month. Now, big geek that I am...I'm all about space pirates and whatnot. However, what images I've seen of Xenu do not lend themselves well to wearing an eyepatch...
...among other things!
There seems to be as much for scientology on this as there is against it. Either way this is beyond what I'd normally term wonky. Still, can't hurt to list some of this listed gunk.
I wipe my hands on the whole affair. If Xenu pops up on my door with a parrot on his shoulder...I'm dousing him in cracker sauce and feeding him to the parrot! Current Mood: weird

I'm sure most fo you have heard of Enturbulation.org.
Although a fabulous resource, some people (myself included) find the sheer amount of information available a bit overwhelming. To remedy this, I have set up Enturbulation.org Week in Review,
a weekly digest site collecting highlights from the previous week's activity.
Feel free to check it out, and make sure you subscribe
if you like it.
